Who are the Country Squires?
The Country Squire Modelers of Norwalk, Ct is a group of enthusiasts that build and fly radio controlled model airplanes.
Established in 1958, we have been flying model airplanes at Sherwood Island State Park, in Westport, CT, since the 1960's.
We maintain an Academy of Model Aviation (AMA) sanctioned flying field and hold a Special Use Permit from the CT DEEP.
Our members and their guests enjoy flying models from paved runways over the north east corner of the park.
We hold meetings on the second Monday of each month (7pm) at the East Norwalk Association Library, 51 Van Zant Street, Norwalk CT.
